Beyoncé has a special Thanksgiving surprise for fans.
The award-winning singer and "voice of a generation," according to "Today" show anchor and Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade co-host Hoda Kotb, popped in for a special video message during the parade.
"Hey, it's Beyoncé wishing you and your family a very happy Thanksgiving. I'm so honored to share with you the first look at the 'Renaissance' film trailer," said Beyoncé, who donned a studded leather jacket and dangling silver earrings in the video.
The "Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé" teaser starts with Beyoncé's daughter Rumi behind the camera, filming her multi-hyphenate mom. "Rumi, can I teach you a trick? You have to turn it (the camera) to the side. Yeah, there we go," Beyoncé says.
During the trailer, moments on stage during the Renaissance World Tour flash by, including cameos by Megan Thee Stallion and Diana Ross. "I have nothing to prove to anyone at this point," Beyoncé says in a voiceover. "We are creating our own world. This is my reward. No one can take that away from me."
Beyoncé, who wrapped her highly acclaimed Renaissance World Tour on Oct. 1, announced a film based on the concert tour will hit the big screen on Dec. 1.
The movie will showcase the Grammy-winning artist's tour stops from the first show on May 10 in Stockholm, Sweden, to the show's finale in Kansas City, Missouri, on Oct. 1.
In addition to concert footage, the film will include portions of the visual album for Beyoncé's latest album "Renaissance" and a documentary-style account of the album and tour’s creation.
"When I am performing, I am nothing but free. The goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free and no one is judged. You're unique," Beyoncé says in a preview of the movie as concert footage flashes in the background. "Start over, start fresh, create the new – that's what the Renaissance is about."
